The French Blue Star Endler's Livebearer (Poecilia wingei "Blue Star") is an extremely colorful, peaceful fish whose small size makes it absolutely perfect for the nano or planted aquarium. It is almost entirely blue and red, which sets it apart from many endler varieties. This fish is very similar to the larger common guppy (Poecilia reticulata).

NL. Jun 30, 2023. #1. Well, besides the N-classs blue star endlers, I'm also keeping the blond hybrid version ever since 2013. I got a small group donated by good friends of mine Peter Raschke and his wife Astrid. To get the the blond version, blue star males were crossed to blond female guppies without any markings in the fins and on the body.

The "Campoma Blue Star" Endler is a captive-produced true-breeding strain of Endler's Livebearer. Females are generally unmarked, simply being olive gray. As with all livebearer strains, there is some variability in coloration from fish to fish. These fish offered are N-Class Endler's Livebearers, traceable to wild and considered pure P. wingei.
